职位描述：
【Group./Dept.】CDMA
【Responsibilities】
1. Work with team on deriving software requirements from 3G/4G mobile phone air-interface standards, hardware and software partitioning, Mobile phone software (L1/L2/L3) design, implementation, testing, and hardware/software integration；
2. Mobile phone modem control, call processing and data stack software (L1/L2/L3) design, implementation, testing, and hardware/software integration；
3. Work with other communications system engineers, software system engineers, and hardware system engineers to support technology feasibility study, architecture evaluation, and product/ prototype development；
4. Create IP (intellectual property)；
5. Participate in 3G/4G standards development；
6. Monitor technical developments in Asian carriers.
【Requirements】
1. Experience in designing, coding, integrating, testing and maintaining embedded, real-time, multi-tasking software；
2. Experience on C, C++ and assembly language programming. Experience on HW/SW integration and co-debug；
3. Familiarity with ARM (or other uCPU) or DSP development platform simulation, debugging and emulation tools. Familiarity with lab test equipments；
4. Understanding of wireless communication systems, such as cellular systems (UMTS, GSM/GPRS, CDMA, etc), or IEEE802.1x systems；
5. Familiarity with PC programming and PC tools that control/monitor an embedded target is a plus；
6. Understanding of computer telephony, LANs, MANs, WANs, VoIP, QoS is a plus.
Understanding of networking principles and communication protocols such as TCP/IP protocol suite is a plus；
7. The team member should also be capable of estimating his/her own schedule, and managing work to that schedule；
8. Good English communication skill is required for those candidates who participate in the standard meetings；
9. 2 to 4 years industrial experience；
10. MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related major is required；
11. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related major is preferred.
